American Movie Theaters Sponsor National Benefit Day for Disaster Relief Efforts

North Hollywood, Calif., Sept. 19, 2001 -- Members of the National Association of Theatre Owners have named Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2001, "Victims' Benefit Day at the Movies." On that day, 100% of ticket and concession sales at participating movie theatres nationwide will be donated to the September 11th Fund of the United Way, and to the American Red Cross. Half of the day's proceeds will go to each organization.
